Terms & Conditions
These terms form the agreement between you and MOALM when you use the platform — covering your account, workspaces and organizations, AI-generated content, your uploaded materials, purchases and refunds, and the legal disclaimers that apply to an educational AI study tool.
Last updated: September 13, 2026
01Acceptance of These Terms
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and [LEGAL ENTITY NAME] ("MOALM", "we", "us", or "our") governing your access to and use of the MOALM adaptive medical-learning platform, including its website, web application, and related services (together, the "Platform" or the "Services").
By creating an account or using the Platform, you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy, available on the Platform at /privacy. If you do not agree with them, do not use the Platform.
If you use the Platform on behalf of an Organization (for example, a university class or study group), you confirm that you are authorized to act for that Organization where these Terms require it, and the Organization is also bound by these Terms.
02Eligibility
You must be at least 17 years old (or the minimum digital-consent age in your jurisdiction, if higher) to create an account. MOALM is designed for learners in medical and higher education; you are responsible for ensuring that your use of the Platform complies with the rules of your educational institution (see Section 13, Academic Integrity).
03Your Account
Registration
You will need a name, an email address, and a password to register. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it current. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity carried out under your account. Notify us immediately at info@moalmai.com if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.
Account security features
The Platform supports email verification, password reset, and automatic sign-out of active sessions after a password change. Signing out deletes the session token on your current device. We may suspend accounts that threaten the security or operation of the Platform.
One person, one account
Do not create accounts for other people without their involvement, and do not share your account credentials. Access to paid features is personal to your account and workspace and may not be resold or shared for the purpose of avoiding purchases.
04Personal Workspace and Organizations
Personal Workspace
When you register, we automatically create a Personal Workspace for you. It is private to you, cannot be discovered by other users, and is the default home for the documents you upload and the learning you do on the Platform.
Organizations
You may join one or more shared workspaces ("Organizations"), such as a class, university, or study group, typically by entering a join code that the Organization shares with you. When you join an Organization:
- You can switch between your Personal Workspace and your Organizations at any time; your active workspace determines where new uploads and activity go;
- Documents and study content uploaded while an Organization is active belong to that Organization’s shared library and are visible to its members — upload materials there only if you are comfortable sharing them with the Organization;
- Organization administrators manage the Organization’s learning modules, exams, and Exam Intelligence analyses, and can view anonymized aggregate usage data about the Organization (see our Privacy Policy); and
- Your individual learning data (answers, scores, progress) is not shown to Organization administrators in the current version of the Platform.
Organizations and their administrators set their own membership rules. MOALM is not responsible for how an Organization or its members use content shared within it.
05The MOALM Services
The Platform provides the following core services:
- Document intelligence. Upload educational documents (PDF, DOCX, PPTX) and the Platform extracts their content, identifies concepts, links them to medical vocabularies where possible, builds a concept graph, and generates study assets such as practice questions and flashcards.
- Study experience. Guided study paths, practice questions, review scheduling based on spaced repetition, and progress analytics that track mastery and knowledge gaps.
- AI tutor. A tutor that can answer questions about your materials, provide hints during practice, and — where available — converse by voice.
- Mock exams. Timed and untimed practice exams built from your materials and modules.
- Exam Intelligence. Analysis of past exams you upload, producing topic-importance estimates, focused study plans, and practice exams oriented toward predicted emphasis (see Section 8).
We may add, change, or remove features over time. Material changes to what the Platform offers will be reflected in updates to these Terms.
06AI-Generated Content
Much of what MOALM produces — concepts, questions, flashcards, explanations, tutor answers, recommendations, and exam analyses — is generated or assisted by artificial intelligence. We apply quality-control and grounding checks to this content, but AI systems can make mistakes.
- Answers and explanations generated by the AI tutor can contain errors, omissions, or outdated information;
- Generated questions can contain inaccuracies in their wording, options, or designated answers;
- Mastery estimates, gap diagnoses, and study recommendations are approximate and may not reflect your true knowledge;
- Processing of uploaded documents can partially fail, especially with scanned, low-quality, or complex layouts; and
- You remain responsible for verifying important information against authoritative sources such as your textbooks, curriculum, and instructors.
We are continuously working to improve accuracy. You can report problematic generated content to us, and we may remove or correct content that fails our quality checks.
07Educational Purpose; Medical Disclaimer
MOALM is an educational study platform. It is not a medical device, and it does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or professional healthcare services.
Content on the Platform — including AI-generated answers, explanations, questions, and clinical cases — is provided for medical education purposes only. It may discuss medical topics, but it is not a substitute for:
- Professional medical judgment, diagnosis, or treatment;
- Authoritative medical literature and clinical guidelines; or
- Instruction from qualified faculty at your institution.
Never rely on the Platform for medical decisions about yourself or others. If you have a health concern, consult a qualified healthcare professional. If you are a learner in a clinical setting, always follow your institution’s protocols and supervising clinicians.
08Exam Intelligence Disclaimer
Exam Intelligence analyzes the past exam papers you upload — their structure, topics, and historical patterns — and uses statistical methods to estimate which topics and concepts deserve the most attention in your remaining study time. It also produces focused study plans and practice exams oriented toward those estimates.
Exam Intelligence outputs are probabilistic estimates, not guarantees. They do not — and cannot — predict or guarantee what will actually appear on any future exam, and they do not guarantee any grade, pass result, or academic outcome.
Specifically:
- Topic-importance estimates are based on the historical exams you and others upload; limited or unrepresentative past papers produce limited or unrepresentative estimates;
- Study plans are prioritization aids, not assurances of coverage; and
- Predicted practice exams are original practice material aligned to predicted emphasis — the Platform deliberately avoids reproducing past paper questions, and predicted exams are not leaked or actual exam content.
Use Exam Intelligence as one input into your study planning, alongside your curriculum, syllabus, and instructors’ guidance. Your exam performance depends on many factors outside the Platform’s control.
09User Content and Your Responsibilities
"User Content" means all materials you upload or submit to the Platform — documents such as lecture notes, slides, textbooks, course packs, and past exam papers — as well as questions, prompts, messages, and other content you provide.
- You retain ownership of your User Content. MOALM does not claim ownership of the documents you upload.
- You are responsible for what you upload. You must have the necessary rights, permissions, or licenses to upload and share any material on the Platform. Do not upload copyrighted materials (such as publisher-owned question banks or textbooks) unless you are licensed or otherwise permitted to do so.
- When you upload a document, you confirm that you have the right to use it on the Platform for the purposes described in these Terms.
- Institutional rules apply. Some institutions restrict the distribution of exam papers or course materials. It is your responsibility to know and follow those rules; MOALM is not responsible for consequences arising from materials you upload in breach of them.
- No unlawful or harmful content. Do not upload content that is illegal, infringing, defamatory, or that contains malware, or that discloses other people’s personal data without permission.
We may remove, restrict, or decline to process User Content that we reasonably believe violates these Terms, infringes third-party rights, or poses legal or security risks — for example, by flagging or suppressing reported copyrighted material.
To request removal of User Content, contact us at info@moalmai.com. The current version of the Platform does not offer self-service document deletion; we will handle removal requests through support.
10License You Grant to MOALM
To provide the Services, we need to process your User Content on our infrastructure and through our third-party AI providers. You grant MOALM a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, upload, store, reproduce, process, analyze, index, and create derivative works from your User Content — solely to operate, maintain, and improve the Services — for the duration of your use of the Platform.
This license includes the right to generate study assets from your documents (such as concepts, questions, and flashcards) and, consistent with our Privacy Policy, to reuse validated derived study content across the Platform — for example, where another user uploads the same or an equivalent document. Where derived content is reused in this way, it is used without identifying you.
This license is limited to operating the Services. It is not a transfer of ownership, and it does not authorize us to sell your User Content.
11MOALM Intellectual Property
The Platform and everything that makes it work are protected by intellectual-property laws. Unless stated otherwise, MOALM (and its licensors) owns all rights in:
- The Platform software, architecture, code, and infrastructure;
- The MOALM name, logo, branding, and visual identity;
- The document-analysis, concept-graph, mastery, spaced-repetition, adaptive-learning, and exam-intelligence systems;
- Original content we create for the Platform, including documentation, templates, and curation; and
- Aggregated and anonymized data, insights, and knowledge structures derived from operating the Platform.
Nothing in these Terms gives you any right, title, or interest in the Platform except the limited right to use it in accordance with these Terms. "MOALM" and related marks are not to be used without our written permission.
12Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms;
- Interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Platform, its infrastructure, or other users’ accounts or workspaces;
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, scrape, or create derivative products from the Platform, or use automated tools to extract content at scale (other than content you are entitled to export);
- Circumvent usage limits, entitlements, or access controls, or resell access to the Platform;
- Upload or transmit malware, or content that is illegal, infringing, or harmful;
- Impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation; or
- Harass other users or misuse reporting and feedback mechanisms.
We may enforce rate limits, quotas, and other technical measures to protect the Platform.
13Academic Integrity
MOALM is a learning and study tool. It is not a service for obtaining exam answers in advance, circumventing assessments, or misrepresenting your own work.
You agree to use the Platform in a manner consistent with the academic-integrity policies of your institution. In particular:
- Do not use the Platform in any way that violates exam rules or assessment regulations you are subject to;
- Do not represent AI-generated content as your own work where your institution requires original work (follow your institution’s rules on the use of AI tools);
- Do not upload exam materials that you were required to keep confidential; and
- Do not use Exam Intelligence or any other feature to claim advance knowledge of exam content.
MOALM is not responsible for academic or disciplinary consequences arising from how you use the Platform.
14Free Tier and Usage Limits
The Platform offers a free experience with substantial usage allowances, including document uploads, AI generation, tutor interactions, exam analyses, and mock exams. Usage of the Platform is measured and limited by quotas — for example, on uploads, pages processed, storage, AI generations, tutor interactions, and exam-related features — which reset periodically (for example, monthly) or apply over the lifetime of your workspace.
We may adjust free-tier limits over time as the Platform evolves. If you exceed your applicable limits, affected features may be unavailable until the limit resets or a paid feature is activated.
15Paid Features: Passes and Exam Prediction
The Platform offers paid features that unlock higher limits and premium capabilities for a fixed period. The current catalog consists of:
- Module Pass — full access for the study of one module, for approximately 60 days;
- Term Pass — access covering up to three modules, for approximately 105 days;
- Year Pass — access covering up to six modules, for approximately 210 days; and
- Standalone Exam Prediction — a single Exam Intelligence analysis that does not expire.
Paid features unlock, among other things: module access, the AI tutor, adaptive learning, and Exam Intelligence, together with increased usage limits. Purchases are one-time payments — there is no automatic renewal or recurring subscription. Buying the same product again while it is still active extends its duration.
Prices are displayed at checkout before you pay, in the currency offered at checkout (currently Egyptian Pounds). We may change prices, products, and what they include over time; changes will not affect purchases you have already made.
Access granted by a purchase is personal to your account and workspace, is subject to these Terms, and may not be resold or transferred.
16Payments and Billing
Payments are processed by our third-party payment processor, Kashier. When you purchase a paid feature:
- You complete payment on a checkout page hosted by the processor (or via InstaPay QR where available);
- Your payment details are handled by the processor — MOALM does not collect or store your full card number or security code;
- We store order and transaction records (product, amount, status, processor references, refund history) to deliver your purchase and maintain financial records; and
- Your access is activated once payment is confirmed.
You agree to pay all charges you authorize, and you confirm that you are entitled to use the payment method you choose. The processor’s terms apply to the payment itself. If a payment fails, your order will not be fulfilled and you may retry; access is only granted for confirmed payments.
17Refunds
Refund requests should be directed to info@moalmai.com. Our full Refund Policy — including the refund windows, conditions, and processing times for passes and standalone Exam Prediction — is published on the Platform at /refunds and forms part of these Terms.
The following technical rules apply to refunds processed through the Platform:
- A full refund generally results in revocation of the access it paid for;
- Usage already consumed (for example, documents processed, AI generations used, exam analyses run) is not restored or credited; and
- Refunds are returned via the original payment method, subject to the payment processor’s processing times.
Nothing in this section limits any non-excludable rights you may have under applicable consumer law.
18Expiration, Renewal, and Loss of Access
Paid features are granted for a fixed period. When that period ends, your workspace automatically reverts to the free tier’s limits, and premium features become unavailable until you purchase again. Your documents, learning data, and history are retained when a purchase expires — only access levels change.
Because purchases do not auto-renew, no action is required to avoid charges. If you buy the same product again before or after expiry, the new period applies from the grant of the new purchase.
19Third-Party Services
The Platform relies on third-party services to operate, including AI model and embedding providers, cloud hosting and storage, email delivery, and payment processing. Your use of the Platform involves the processing of data by these providers as described in our Privacy Policy. Their own terms may govern specific interactions (for example, the payment checkout and your payment method).
We are not responsible for third-party services beyond our control, but we select providers with care and configure our integrations to limit processing to what the Services require.
20Availability, Maintenance, and Beta Features
We aim for high availability, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. The Platform may be unavailable for maintenance, updates, or causes beyond our control, and we may modify or discontinue features. Document processing, AI generation, and exam analysis are asynchronous and may take time or occasionally fail; we will tell you when processing fails, and failed processing does not consume your quota.
Parts of the Platform may be offered as previews or experimental features. They may be less stable, change without notice, or be discontinued, and they are provided as-is.
21Disclaimers
The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, except those that cannot be excluded by law. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the Platform will be error-free, secure, continuously available, or that AI-generated content will be accurate or complete. See Sections 6 through 8 for the specific limitations of AI-generated content, the medical disclaimer, and the Exam Intelligence disclaimer.
22Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, MOALM and its personnel will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, academic performance, or opportunities, arising out of or relating to your use of the Platform.
Our total aggregate liability for all claims arising out of or relating to the Platform or these Terms will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or (b) 7999.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for fraud.
23Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless MOALM and its personnel from claims, damages, liabilities, and reasonable costs (including legal fees) arising from: (a) User Content you upload or submit; (b) your violation of these Terms or of any third-party rights (including intellectual-property rights); or (c) your violation of applicable law or your institution’s rules.
We will defend similar claims brought against you solely to the extent they arise from our unauthorized disclosure of your personal data, as required by law.
24Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or restrict your access to the Platform if you materially breach these Terms, pose a security or legal risk to the Platform or its users, or fail to pay amounts due. Where reasonable, we will give you notice and an opportunity to remedy the breach.
You may stop using the Platform at any time. Because the Platform does not currently offer self-service account deletion, you may request account closure by contacting us at info@moalmai.com; see also our Privacy Policy.
25Effect of Termination
When your access ends, your right to use the Platform stops, and the licenses you granted to MOALM under Section 10 end — except that content we are permitted or required to retain (for example, validated shared study content that no longer identifies you, and billing records) may be retained as described in our Privacy Policy.
Provisions that should survive termination — including Sections 9 through 12 and 21 through 27 — will survive.
26Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and revise the "Last updated" date at the top. If a change is material, we will notify you before it takes effect — for example, by email or by a prominent notice in the Platform.
Your continued use of the Platform after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms. If you do not accept them, stop using the Platform.
27Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of Egypt, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Platform will be resolved in the courts of Cairo Egypt, unless we agree otherwise in writing or applicable law provides otherwise. Before escalating a dispute, we encourage you to contact us at; most issues can be resolved directly.
